Welcome to the Georgia Foothills Walk to Emmaus Website
The Georgia Foothills Walk to Emmaus (GFWTE) follows the Upper Room guidelines for the Walk to Emmaus Program. The GFWTE community was founded in 2002 by our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Athens Area Walk to Emmaus and other community members. Walk #22 will be in the fall 2012.
4DC: Attention Pilgrims & Team Members from all Emmaus Walks
4th Day Crossroad is a time of fellowship as we break bread together and have the opportunity to explore Sponsorship and Team Service in Emmaus. It provides an opportunity to ask questions, find out more about what takes place behind the scenes to make a Walk "happen", and allows you to fulfill the charge to be an informed member of the Emmaus movement.

Thank you Flowery Branch UMC! 4th Day Follow Up Gathering
Thank you to Ed Dickens and the rest of the folks at Flowery Branch UMC, for hosting a wonderful 4th Day Follow Up Gathering for the Spring Walks #21! Check out the Team Formation Page for details on the upcoming Fall Walks #22. Christ is counting on you! Fill out an application to serve on one the Fall walks coming up in late September. Team selection is June 4th!
Gatherings
_ The May Gathering will be at Gainesville First UMC. The follow-up gatherings are such a special time for our Georgia Foothill community.
Praise and worship will start at 7:30, followed by a 4th day talk. A nursery for children 10 years old and younger is available at all the gatherings. We will end our evening with food and fellowship.
