Building the kingdom of God is serious work. A strong Emmaus
community is part of that task. This is why good sponsorship is key to
achieving this purpose. Take sponsorship seriously and always
approach it with the love of Christ.
The Purpose of Emmaus
• Strengthen the local church
• Spiritually renew the church members so that that can bring God’s love and grace to those they encounter
• Bring Christ’s Spirit to environments such as home, business, friendships, communities and churches

4DC: Attention Pilgrims & Team Members from Walks 20 & 21
4th Day Crossroad is a time of fellowship as we break bread together and have the opportunity to explore Sponsorship and Team Service in Emmaus. It provides an opportunity to ask questions, find out more about what take place behind the scenes to make a Walk "happen", and allows you to fulfill the charge to be an informed member of the Emmaus movement.
4DC will be Saturday, April 21st at 6:30 pm at Gainesville First UMC. The board recommends that you join us for 4DC before you sponsor or serve on a teamm. If you can attend, please RSVP by email to pastor.david@bellsouth.net or call 706-973-9924 so we can plan enough food for the meal!
